Michelin Pilot sport 2 lasted 11k miles

Original Pilots lasted 32K and replacement SP9000 have now gonw 15K and still have about 4mm tread albeit, an SLK320 is far lighter on the back end.

I would not be happy with 11K though even on such aa heavy car

I tend to be a little heavy on the throttle pedal, I only do 25 miles a day and the traction control takes over at least 4 or 5 times day but my Conti 2's seem to be on the 1/2mm mark for the last 3 months:eek:, I think they'll be racing slicks in another couple of months, then I'm going go for some high end budgets since reading the other threads on this site

With 600bhp under the hood, buy good tyres and lighter shoes :D

Currently on 26k on my rear Pirreli P6000's and still life in em yet
