Thought this may help somebody? I checked on the Microsoft site and it appears to be valid:

Microsoft for a limited time is offering students a cut down price for Microsoft Office 2007. This is the full ultimate version retailing at about £599, but you can get it for £38.95!

Offer ends sometime in December

To qualify, you need to have a university/college email address ending with ac.uk

The link to get it is http://www.theultimatesteal.co.uk/

Once you confirm your email address, a link and password is sent to you on where you can purchase. Email address and the link only work once it would appear. You get the following warning -

PLEASE NOTE: Forwarding the invitation will make this email address ineligible for the program.

This is the link you get, once you qualify for the software.

beware if you dont have an email ending .ac.uk as you can be charged about £400 to £500 iirc and don't qualify...

at least this is how it was a few weeks ago...

Hello,

If you work of a Uni or similar you may find that you have a site licence which allows home use for staff...

Even better £0

Microsoft's university student offer posted here last month

Check with your employer, you may be entitled to software as part of Microsoft's Home Use Program if they are a volume user, then you need only pay for the media (around £20 incl.) and have a license to use the full version for the period of your employment with them.

I have it ..... its very pretty but not convinced its THAT much better -- have to relearn everything ...lol
