Out of interest.

Does anyone here have a backbox that will be suitable for a W124 Coupe at all?

Something like an AMG/Sebring/Remus etc etc.

My BB needs replacing and I was looking for something different to put on it.

If someone does I can collect from the GTG.

Jay, I'm going to have to drop out at the very last minute. Sorry to let you down bro.

I haven't used the old girl in a couple of weeks, started her this morning, engaged gear but no throttle response at all! Just kind of rolled along at 0.5 mph. I kept trying different things for half an hour but now battery is dead, then spent another half an hour pushing her back into parking space...

Just a quick note to thank Jay and all his family and friends for putting on another great day - pity that the full contingent of acceptances didn't turn up - but I found it very enjoyable and met new people.

Have taken a few snaps - not very good at taking out number plates.. should have used a screwdriver..

Good to meet up with everyone there - it was a very good do I thought.

Very many thanks to Jay - and all his family - who clearly put a lot of time and effort into the day. Very much appreciated by me, and all present I'm sure.

The valet guys did a splendid job on the S211, as the pics above testify!

And who would have thought that the SEC would have been the most common model there? Nice looking line-up though! Consider me converted.

Definately a lot less this year... not sure what happened but i know there was Tennis, Silverstone, Goodwood etc etc today... But it was a great day and the sun shone the entire day..

Thanks to all that made it and thanks to Goldfish for the use of the BBQ again.. Oh and not forgetting our chef Corned pictured above!
