Firstly Detailed, yours photos are amazing and secondly I agree that taking time to prepare is vital and that dealers don't always do that part very well. However, in my defence I can't afford to spend the kind of money that it costs to employ guys like you to make my paintwork perfect. My "Mirror Finish" may not be as perfect as is humanly possible but I achieved it at a cost of £14!
I paid £9 for Colourwax and I won a set of Supagard products for £5 on ebay! The set included seat and carpet protector, wheel sealant/protector and Supagard 100 paint sealer. It may last months rather than years but it still represents very good value for money..........oooh I forgot I spent quite a lot of Elbow Grease
