Mirror finish

Firstly Detailed, yours photos are amazing and secondly I agree that taking time to prepare is vital and that dealers don't always do that part very well. However, in my defence I can't afford to spend the kind of money that it costs to employ guys like you to make my paintwork perfect. My "Mirror Finish" may not be as perfect as is humanly possible but I achieved it at a cost of £14!
I paid £9 for Colourwax and I won a set of Supagard products for £5 on ebay! The set included seat and carpet protector, wheel sealant/protector and Supagard 100 paint sealer. It may last months rather than years but it still represents very good value for money..........oooh I forgot I spent quite a lot of Elbow Grease :)

And for that sir I solute you!:) my post above was purely aim at super guard not cosmetically making a difference to your work and to others to not spend lots getting a cheap product fitted by the dealers. Your work is proof of what I have always said is in the elbow grease and its brilliant that it can be produced on a budget otherwise known as your hands and knowledge of paint with an eagle eye. G-techniq application is expensive but as number 1 in the world you kind of expect it to be. But you are paying for a product that really does work.

P.s. My clients have told me before what there dealerships are charging for superguard and I can tell you for the same money I can offer a lot more then they ever will or achieve.

Cheers and keep up your fantastic work your achieving on your car:)

Michael

Given that I bought the dealers product for £5 and without any training applied it successfully, it does rather make you wonder how they get away with charging £399 and I agree that £399 would go further with you! :)

I think it's each to their own, works for the OP that's all that really matters, I find the best thing for dark cars is 3m-perfect-it-iii-ultrafina, 3m hand glaze, dodo juice purple haze, I have tried just about every product on the market, and while not a pro I have never had anything give such a deep gloss, I even have the black hole and a few others, the 3m for me is much better and easy on / off, again others would probably disagree, but if you try it there will be no going back.
