All, just picked up a c200K coupe 03 plate from an independant dealer a few days ago.

When i looked in the spare wheel compartment i noticed that there is no vehicle tool kit, wheel chock, jack etc. When i look at the online MB manual here:

http://www4.mercedes-benz.com/e/cars/c-class-c/betriebsanleitung/vertiefen/N213B2.html

It lists three possible options for the type of spare tyre setup:
  • a TIREFIT kitmore
  • a collapsible emergency spare wheel* more
  • the MOExtended run-flat system* more
So the question is how do i know which option my car has?

I have the spare wheel which looks like it might be the collapsible emergency type but i'm not sure, how would i be able to tell?

The tyres on the car are Barum Bravuris 225/45/17 91W tubeless.

Any thoughts on what eqipment i'm missing and what type of spare wheel option i have we be helpful so i can go back to the dealer and get them to provide the right missing gear.

thanks
ewan

Sounds like you have the collapsible, since you actually do have a spare wheel thing in there - and that you are short of,
pump,
jack
chock
line-up-things
special bolts
spare fuses
(Run flats mean you don't get a spare)

Whats your VIN, and i'll have a look what EPC (electronic parts catalog) has to say

R

[edit] - they seem to give you tirefit always as it makes runflat last longer, so you are missing that as-well[/edit]
