ML 270 DIESEL Wont start

Because no fuel pressure is being built up.
Are you saying after starting with easystart the engine then ran normally.?

yeah, ran with no problems, then turned it of after a bit of reving and nothing just turned over but would not fire

you only need 240 bar to start, you dont need as much pressure once started so im thinking you have a leak or air in the system or of course the pump...

for you help. looks like air they say there is air coming through wen they attach a clear pipe, as per MB dealer instructions

In that case it will be the filter connections.

or the self bleed valve maybe?

if this is borken it could let air back into the system?
