Mobile Phone Unlock Codes

I have a Sony Xperia Ray from Orange that is out of contract and I need it unlocking.

Apart from calling Orange (hopeless customer service, so don't want to deal with them), what's the best/cheapest/quickest way of getting it unlocked so I can use a Vodafone SIM?

Prob an independant phone shop will most likely have the software to unlock.

Google phone unlocking. There are several packages out there that work and usually cost about £7.00 .

There is almost always a mobile phone unlocker at your local market. Should be done for around a tenner.
