Modernising the interior of my 11 year old CLS55

Just realised the photo is a BMW, still looks rally nice though!

:) as I said, difficult to photograph what it really looks like and none I've taken have done it justice, that image is on the Polish site I got my Dinoc from and is close.

That's the kind of wheel I'd like in terms of looks, although with Alcantara. How much did that cost and where from? PM me if you don't feel easy talking figures in the open.

I like what you have done with your interior, that looks really nice. I have the silver metallic type material and was thinking of getting it all done in red, but it might be too much red.

I believe an updated steering wheel, just like with alloys, can enhance and modernise a car so it's definitely something I want to do with mine.

Thanks for all the replies guys!

I got it from these guys...

They've done loads of business with people here and on the other mainUK forum. They claim to be in Sweden but they are actually eastern european, might've been Poland but can't remember for sure, don't know why they claim otherwise but never heard of any problems with them.

The wheels are new genuine but some seem to think they maybe seconds as they have found the odd mark on them, nothing you wouldn't do yourself within five minutes of using it though and compared to well over a grand direct from MB it's not a difficult choice.

Their prices do seem to have been hit by the exchange rate changes, I paid around £400 three and a bit years ago, factoring in the £150 the paddles would've cost and £250 didn't seem too bad!

The steering wheel is the most direct contact you have with a car and I disliked the feel of original so much it was spoiling the whole experience.

I would recommend Jack at royal steering wheels too. I bought a CLS 63 one and fitted it to mine, couldn't alter my existing one as he didn't have the correct colour in stock at the time, so was easier for him to supply me with a new wheel.
