More garage progress (painted floor!)

Excuse my ignorance but where do the motorbikes, kids bikes, lawnmower, strimmer and the other usual half ton of accumulated 5hit3 go.

Very tidy though.

Couple of years ago I painted a raw concrete floor in a new conservatory with epoxy paint. Boy do you have to work fast, once mixed you've got about 20 minutes to get it on the floor
Used as similar two part epoxy paint on my garage floor about 16 years ago ,and you've got to be quick.Best way is to mix it and pour it over the floor and , wearing a pair of spiked golf shoes, spread it all over with a long handled paint roller. 16 years on and apart from underneath one of the wheels its still virtually unmarked.

Very nice!

I have an outside little b&q cheapo shed thing for lawnmower etc.

No kids!

Do you use a Rizla as a spacer between the front bumper and the garage door? :D

You'll be wanting a dehumidifier in there now to stop those bikes from going rusty.

Does look really nice being that clean though. Nice job.

How are you, haven't seen you around for a while, did notice the "Missing" post the other day.:thumb:

Decided to section off the rear part of the garage a few years back when I had a TT . The "E" is a fair bit longer so I've ended up with only about 600mm of space in front, usually drive the car in and have a stop block for the front wheel which means I end up with the rear of the car about 100mm from the door, stop or not I'm always checking the clearance before closing the door.

Not surprised its lasted well, has a reputation for being real tough stuff. Recommended to use on raw untreated concrete though.

Use the old tennis ball on bit of string trick. Park car in optimal position. Puncture tennis ball and suspend from the roof so its just touching the rear screen when parked. Then you just back in and stop when the ball hits the rear screen. Caution when windy outside though!

Looking good Ryan. :)

Need some posters or something for my walls, breaks the boring white up a bit. Mine's been leaking under the door for a while and, having tried allsorts of things like rubber strips and things, I eventually decided to put a full length drain across the front. So far so good... Now to tidy the floor up. :)
