Hi Acid,

If this just 1 custom map or does it different maps such as pop and bang (can imagine that getting a little bit too much on a road trip with the little one in the back)

Also does this need a battery charger running whilst you are doing pulling the standard map to the device and then writing the new map? Seen on VividRacing this is the case.

You can have stage 1 or stage 2 if you have the supporting mods in place for stage 2. You can also store multiple maps on the device yes.

No no battery charger required with these as it writes in seconds as opposed to most BMWs etc which take around 10 mins to wire so would require a battery charger.

If you wanted a second map we could do that one at half of the usual remap price and you can store it on the same device

Is it possible to have the two maps controlled by the comfort/sport/sport+ switch? It certainly feels like the car has different maps associated with each mode, and I thought that it would be great to have a standard map when in comfort, and the new, MSL map in the other modes.

If not, how does the new map affect the car in "normal" driving? Mine is my daily and I wouldn't want it to be completely mad all the time, especially driving in town.

unfortunately you can’t restrict the maps to certain modes.

It will run across all modes, slightly enhancing each one.

So would be quite mild in comfort and more aggressive/noticeable in sport.

Haha, yes of course.
I meant you will still be able to feel the difference between each mode

In simple terms the engine map will provide the same power at a given rpm/throttle opening in any gearbox mode.

The different gearbox modes change the shift points, how much throttle is required to kickdown and how the throttle pedal works.

For example, let's say that in C 50% throttle pedal travel is 50% throttle opening but in S+ 50% throttle pedal travel is 90% throttle opening. Therefore, the car feels more lively which in turn has a placebo effect of more power.
