Msl remaps go too Cornwall

Andy, does the V5 map alter the Race Start function at all? I tried it today and I could have sworn the revs are lower post map. It's still utterly useless mind you, haha!

I'd not touch Big Fish having seen the maps for other AMG's. Weistec or Eurocharged have the experience.

I am fortunate to have experience of both Eurocharge (Jerry) and Big Fish.

Jerry mapped my car extensively a few years back with the 84mm pulley fitted 55k engine). Given his vast experience already of this pulley set up in the states, he took a while to get it perfect. This map was then used as the base file in most other 55k cars requiring a remap thereafter, on some cars it was used directly. The map was great.

When I had my new 77mm pulley fitted last year, Jerry mapped the car but after a few hours was unable to get the figures expected and the AFR consistent. Admittedly this was done over the phone / internet as he is in the US. I could have left the car and waited another day, but took Acids advise and John took a look at the map. Immediately he was able to give a more stable map and one that gave the results expected.

Both tuners for me are very capable and can provide bespoke written maps.

Agree Jules,

Eurocharged are the "gold standard" for mapping our cars.

However, if there are a few additional mods i.e. improved cooling / water meth etc. Then John can have the car on the Dyno all day doing logging runs ensuring that the map is then tailored specifically to the car.

I was fortunate to have Jerry create a bespoke map (he was in the UK) when i originally had mine mapped, he tweeked the map for the Carbinio intake and K&N filters i had just installed and he got a nice 534BHP out of it from 457 BHP stock.

I'm a fan of Jerry and his remaps, just got my ECU back from Eurocharged US.

Look forward to installing it back on the car, probably next week when I get a chance.
