Currently use Admiral.

They have sent rhough renewal and its £45 more for no reason!

Will argue it down with them but any recommendations on other co's for multicar out there?

Phone Giles Insurance. 01294315409. They got me a great deal with Royal Oak for my Eclass,GTI and BM.

Try Heritage (I think they do non-classic cars) and one of the sponsors here, Primo.

Do you mean £45 more than last year ? Sounds ok to me considering many have gone up 25/30%

I insure my five vehicles with Primo PLC. LINK.

They are very competetive (even with my 17 year old son on part of the policy). They are flexible (there was only a month or so left on the policy when I bought my Vito 120 and they didn't charge anything at all to insure it for the remaining time).

You'll deal with real people on the telephone and Freda is a lovely lady to talk to.

Freephone: 05001 05001.

Another vote for primo... my... ehmm... vehicles (iirc 5 cars and 2 bikes, but I may be mistaken) are insured with them.

Very helpful, answer the phone and you speak to a real person and not a call center. Called them yesterday to add the new probe, and got my new 30-day certificate from them today in the mail.

Can't fault them in the slightest!

My insurance policy only ever goes down, I wangle, cross quote, threaten to leave etc.. not going to change that now.

Up £45 on last years premium.

Probably a bit late, but just to add to multi car options I've just (last week) taken a policy out with Aviva.

Have had my renewal for the BMW we own (£706.81).

Needed to insure the ^^ BMW and a new C220 Sport saloon with business use. My current insurer (Zurich Connect) is far too expensive and would only do two seperate policies anyway so were not an option. Admiral were over £1250 for their multicar.
Aviva's multicar (with my wife having zero no claims on the BMW) came in at £929.
Was recommended Aviva by an accountant friend. They apply multicar discount and upto 15% discount if you have other policies with them (Eg. House, endowment etc).
If you get an online quote still phone them as my best online quote (I did a few) was £980 which they reduced a further £51 over the phone.

^+1 for that......always finalise on the telephone. Insurance is always what YOU can get on the day. I have recently switched from three insurers to Admiral multi-car in the aggregate annual sum of £785 but of course this reflects many variables tailored to me, my wife and our requirements such as history, business use, excess, legal......

You might have to - most premiums have risen accross the board.

Regardless, with inflation you'll have to cough up more at some point! ;)

Expect to pay around 20% or so more than last year. If you manage to get it much cheaper than your renewal, it probably means you overpaid last year! :o

Just by way of an update we sold the BMW in January so our multi car policy morphed into a single car policy for the C220. Had a look around and the wife decided on a Mazda 2 special edition which we picked up in March. Phoned around and got quotes (bear in mind my wife has zero years no claims) which were all around the £420 mark with legal cover.

Phoned Aviva to add the Mazda on with the Merc to make it multicar policy again and the yearly amount quoted was ..... £165.72 (for a full year) fully comp with legal and me as named driver. We actually paid £110.48 so the policy maintains it's one renewal date.:bannana: Very pleased with that and can now see the benefit of Multi-Car where your circumstances suit the insurer.
