My Build Thread.

Thought I would start a build thread so I can add to it as I go along. Not much at the moment. Purely cosmetic as ive wrapped all the chrome body trim in matt black and the drl covers and front splitter in carbon wrap.

Rear diffuser has been carbon dipped.

Next I plan to lower the car and put 12mm spacers on the front and 10mm on the back.

LOVE IT. how much did it cost to get the diffuser dipped? and are you pleased with the results? did you have to get it painted first to create a smooth surface?

Hi. Diffuser cost £100 to get dipped. They did all the prep work. I'm more than happy with the result. Unlike aftermarket diffusers I knew it would be a perfect fit.

Did you do the wrap yourself ? That's what I want to do to mine ,hate the chrome round the doors.& around the lights.
And when my tyres are shot I'll be getting some black 19 inch wheels.

True, but it's flippin expensive for what it is. I'm not really a fan of the bigger fins on the diffuser. I would like to get a cf front splitter but it could be a nightmare if I ordered one from the states and it had a problem.

Yes I wrapped it all myself. I removed all the trim panels. Not only is it easier to wrap off the car but you can do a much better job as opposed to wrapping on the car.

They do a standard replacement 'like for like' too. That's the one that I've got fitted as I didn't like the big fin one either

I bought it off a fellow member on here. Think he paid £600+ but I got it for a 'deal' price. It had never been fitted either

Thanks for that. I went on their website and they are currently selling the diffuser for £500. As I'm not the first owner of the car I find that very steep for a bit of trim..... If you get my drift.

I'll stick with my hydro dipped diffuser for now
