My C55 AMG

any further updates pal ? shes a real beauty!

I love how it benefits from digital climate control , something which is very rare on these models.

Few more updates been busy with new job so not hardly driven her really. Spend most of my time working/driving about in my 116 Efficient Dynamics+.

So the updates....

Dash out to stop the Carbon Filter Stepper Motor Clicking ******* of a job!!

Decided to a Carbon rear defuser to improve the look of the rear

CLK Grille fitted as it looks better then the C55 one.

Carbon Fibre front lip fitted to add aggression/depth to the front

New rubber for the front wheels some nice Conti Contact 5Ps

Finally a B service inc Spark Plug change and rocker gasket replacement. Since my last post only covered 1800 miles in her need to driver her more!!!

Next on the list is a trip to MSL for a remap and some exhaust work I think.

Where did you get the rear diffuser and front grille from ? Thinking of adding these to mine. I'd really like a diffuser that mimics the C63 with 4 blades but no one seems to make it.

Also, where did you get the steering wheel paddles from ? Did they need much work to fit in the cut out behind the wheel. Don't use my buttons much, but miss the paddles I have / had on the M3. And aesthetically look much nicer too. Thanks in advance :thumb:

Sent this and a pm, if you can help, a reply would be appreciated :thumb:

Picking mine up tomorrow :D Wanting to do the paddles and like the subtle carbon fibre front and rear bits.

Man that dash out job looks grim!!

The CLK grille is a must - looks fantastic - and your carbon bits looks cool

Will you get the EC Map for both ECU & TCU if you venture down to MSL?

Their exhaust guy is meant to be the master also

Look forward to seeing progress

Not done much of an udate in ages and to be honest I haven't managed to do a great deal to the car, general life has got in the way and a current house purchase has swallowed up funds...

So she has had a brake fluid change and the rear diff oil (gearbox oil has been done before I purchased the car.)

Updates:

Decided to whip the steering off and change the buttons for some Paddles

After:

Repaired the slight wear to the drivers bolster.

Replaced the old Mobil one sticker in the engine bay:

Cleaned up some annoying glue/muck on the ABS pump:

Replaced the idler pulley as bearings were worn:

Also swapped out for the fog light bulbs for LED versions so they are the same colour as the HID/sidelights.

Also got some new front discs and pads to fit when I get round to it can't believe how cheap they were for genuine ones.

Hopefully once moved into our new house I can crack on with the car!

What did you use to repair the wear on the seat bolster bud? I
