My Carlsson kitted 300CE what do you think???

Hi, this is my first merc, it is a 300ce 3.0L S-6 12v.
It has got a full carlsson bodykit 17" OZ wheels, Carlsson interior, i love it just wondered what you all think?? enjoy more pics to follow.

Looks very nice but IMO it is just crying out to colour code the rub strips on the bumpers and remove the grill badge.
You would then have a car that really looked the dogs wotsits. just my tastes which I am sure based on my automotive history are not worth much

Looks nice. The MB star on the grill looks like it should be black or colour coded to my tastes, as per the grill surround itself.

I would love to see the Carlsson interior.

Have you much history of the car - when in it's life was the kit fitted?

It might be the angle, but the wheels look like they are the wrong offset - just my unqualified opinion. A set of period Carlssons would finish it off nicely.

I love it. Its great. Than again, I've always loved the CE's. Please, Please PLEASE lose the badge on the grill.

Ady, the car looks really good, congratulations, I hope it gives you many miles of pleasure, as I'm sure it will. Well done!

Just one small observation, the 'star' would be better colour coded. and also I think if you had 'smoked' front indicators, like the repeaters & rear lights. But of course that is a matter of your own taste, after all, you are the one who owns it, not anybody else.

Some photos of the interior would be nice, as I'm not familiar with the Carlsson interior.

Bin the star altogether and get a W124 Avantgarde grille, now that would look good .....

Nice car though, bet that front valance is a nightmare over speedhumps .....

Ok i think i know what i am doing at the weekend i will give the interior a clean fit my plasma dials and take some photos, the interior is grey leather, with a small 4 spoke carlsson wheel & gear nob with blue trim instead of wood. keep looking for the pics i will post them soon cheers guys.

IMO the CE looks lovely stock. The grille is a definite no!

Hi Peter i have got to say i do know what everyone is saying, i would like to get the new style bonnet with grille insert, as i am going to replace the front wings soon small rust spots
