Bicycle and a couple of ML's
Oh yes it is - took me bloody ages too! You don't realise the size of an ML until you jet wash it and then clean the interior - even manages to get the gunk outta the cracks in the leather.....

*waits 5 mins for wife, kids and dog to completely undo my hard work*

Where did my weekend go? Seemes to have passed me by and not even bothered to wave......

I do the interior one day and the exterior another on the Range Rover, it's too big and much hard work! :D

I did the Smart car exterior today ~20mins, was too lazy to hoover the inside, went inside, had a glass of wine.

Want to know the 20min lazyman car wash?

hose down
bucket of soapy water and sponge
hose down (don't dry it, wife doesn't appreciate the extra effort) :)

I desperately need to clean my car outside and in. Not bothering with the inside too much though as I am trading it in for my E-Class in a few weeks :)

There used to be a time when every Sunday without fail and no matter what the weather I would lovingly hand clean the car and chamois it dry before tending to the interior and every nook and cranny. As I grew older I lost interest in it!

I have promised myself I will get the new car valet cleaned once a month or so to keep it tip top.

Prove it - lets see some pictures then.....:thumb:

I always find that when I clean my cars I get a sort of theraputic calmness that de-stresses me!!! Only my cars mind not ones owned by other folks :p

Washed the CLK today - and realised I've only used it once this year. Was still filthy though from a lot of running around just before Xmas etc. Must be 1-2 months since the last time it was cleaned.

Did the tyre pressures, gave it a quick hoover, cleaned the wheels/arches and a decent wash, cleaned the glass etc.

Looking much better now but no point in getting carried away as I know it'll get filthy next time it's used - wait until early spring for a proper clean I reckon :)

Cleaned my car today, first time since before Christmas.

Vacuumed interior, cleaned drivers seat with Gliptone cleaner.

Cleaned exterior using 2 bucket system, toweled dry. Cleaned windows inside and out.

Applied Gliptone conditioner to driver and front passenger seats

Cleaned wheels, dried alloys. checked/adjusted tyre pressures.

Lifted bonnet, wiped over engine cover, rad frame and headlight seals.

Topped up screen wash.

2.5 happy hours spent in the sunshine :thumb: :D

Cleaned mine today , Thank god it was sunny as the cars covered in salt and I hate salt !!!

Pre washed / Rinsed / Washed / Rinse aid / Polished / Alloys taken off and cleaned one at a time / Leather cleaned and nourished / Interior hoovered and brushed / New gliptone leather air freshner hung underneath the seat / Glass polsihed / Engine degreased / oh and underneath & wheel arches jetwashed to get all that nasty salt from the underside

My car is officialy cleaner than yours

**Oh yeah and then I got a bulb problem :-(

Sounds good! I don't "dry" the car either, but when it does, I often see spots I have definitely missed, mud patches :D

Pictures or we don't believe it!

I started my mates Fiesta ST today, decided against going for paint correction so settled for a wash, clay, wax, wheel sealant and tyres coated. I'll do the interior tomorrow. It had not been cleaned for 2 years  It looks good now though :D

Best part of Sunday spent on the cars, cleaned interiors at home, off to the jetwash so I could pressure rinse well under the arches and as much of the underside as I could and then to the handwash. All in time until the new bad weather front comes in.

I did the Vito today ... first weekend day it's been above freezing for some time! Just the outside - interior will have to wait :(

cleaned the SL today, get rid of the salt and other dirt,

this summer , I painted my garage floor, where i park my car overnight, and it has stayed clean till it started snowing, the amount of dirt car collects when driving in the snow, unbelievable, the garage floor was black after day 1.

that made me think to give the car a good wash down once it stopped freezing

i try and clean car (outside) once per week, time permitting, it also makes me think i have to tend to all those tiny little scratches (about half a dozen of them) on the paint work, maybe this summer.

Sad to say, I let my local Serbian car wash guys do mine. 20 minutes each, nice clean and shiny cars while I sit and enjoy the paper in their little warm, dry office! :) Now THAT'S lazyman car washing! :D

All that grit in thier wash mitts , All the high powered jet washes on the maximum setting taking the paint off of your parking sensors , All that tyre dressing not drying properly and spinning off onto your paintwork

:D Well, in some maybe, but MY guys are careful :) Seriosuly, they know me well enough now and do actually take care when cleaning my cars. I've not had an issue...yet!

That's a different story! Those Russian "Moika" are not quite to the same standard yet! Actually, there's a guy who works at the local BP/TNK moika who's an ex-convict, but really puts effort into cleaning the cars! He even washes the floor mats, which is great - in summer - but he even washes them in winter, needless to say, within a few minutes the mats are covered in ice! :D And, best of all, don't try buying fuel just after getting the car washed in winter in Russia - why? 'Cos the fuel flap ices closed!! Very embarrassing when holding up a nice long queue trying to unfreeze the fuel flap! :D

I helped out a BMW 3 series driver before Christmas who had this problem on the M1 (well the services anyway). Lots of blokes were ignoring her obvious distress.

Polish guys near us do a very good job.
