:D:D:D:D Finally stopped raining and managed to get newly painted Black Gloss and Lacquered AMG III's on. Bit dirty after the rain but should be nice and clean for the Midland GTG on Sunday. So pleased with final result thinking about getting the Kleemann TS-7's done as well. Click to enlarge.

Very, very nice tudu! :)

A slight break from the "stealth" look with those red calipers? OK I suppose, until you get those bigger discs!! It's crying out for larger cross-drilled disc to fill those wheels.;)

Thanks. Yes need the bigger discs and will then paint the calipers black, or if weather's nice tomorrow might paint them then.

Nice mods:rock:

1 thing which stands out that needs sorting...The bonnet star!

Thanks. Well spotted, its only temporary as some thieving xxxxxxx stole my Kleemann flat bonnet badge, had to order new one from Denmark.

Guess I'm the odd one out....

While I appeciate your time / effort you put into your mods I prefer the look of the car before.

No chrome to polish :( sorry but it matters jack ------ if you like it :)

If only they made a carbon fibre star... Wheels also look s*** hot :)

Looks great, id lose the smoked tail lights though :)

Just noticed the MB logo on the wheels are chrome, will they be staying that way, or blacked out?

Not sure yet. As my car has changed so much over the past year i was starting to loose the original MB concept. I suppose keeping the star's chrome was a gentle reminder to me that it's still an MB. I'll probably give it a week or 2 and see how i feel then. Maybe when i paint the calipers black that might be the time to black out the stars - just not sure would welcome comments.....

I've finally managed to source a starless grille for my W215. It comes in primer. Can you tell me where you sourced the CF covering and how to apply it as that's what I want to do with the grille?

You will need to find a local Carnoisseur (Direct Line - 0845 1301077), or i believe Halfords sell the CF vinyl sheets, best get 2 as 1 layed out will not completely cover the grille so you will need to make a join. Tools needed, good sharp craft knife (i use a surgeons scalpel) hair dryer and lots of paitence. I also gave my finished grille 2 coats of clear lacquer for extra protection. The only tip is take your time and don't rush it mine took about 8-9 hours as did the tricky bits in between slats then took a rest as heavy concentration required. Gently heat CF sheet once cut and ready to start getting into the tricky parts slats etc with hair dryer and don't forget to remove air bubbles with plastic credit card (i used missus Nectar card) although you may get a few these are easily removed afterwards with a pin, and the lacquer seals it. Good luck.
