As I posted earlier, I bought a C63 estate last month. Iwas driving a BMW 330d Touring and TBH there was nothing wrong with it. Fast and econimical it was I just wanted a bit more. need an estate so that pushed me down the AMG route. Have always loved the sound of the C63 and found a second hand estate. Took a test drive and I was hooked The sound and acceleration were too much and I had to have the car. Did a deal with the gararge and a week later picked up the car.
This is where it started to go wrong. it was pouring with rain the day I got the car so it was a few days later before I got a close look. The salesman had promised me a list of things would be done. Guess what, nothin had been done he had even said not to was it for a few weeks as the front had been 'painted' as I'd asked for some stone chips to be taken care of.
Called the dealer and spoke to the sales manager. He was very helpful and apologised profusely. promised everything would be done and said I could have their C63 demo car while the work was being done
This was 4 weeks ago Now the loan car was a nice touch. less than 100 miles on the clock when I got it and it has all the extras. Not subtle being white with black wheels and red leather but a cracking car all the same. Have put 1000 miles on the car and loved every minute but the dog has not enjoyed it
The garage have now said my car is ready and will pick up saturday. Can only hope after 4 weeks they have fixed everything. This is my first Mercedes so an interesting start. Dont get me wrong car dealers are a bad bunch at the best of times IMHO but for an approved used car there seemed to be no prep done. Did they think I wouldn't notice
