Not quite, it was a member on the other forum who had lost his job and couldn't afford to keep it/mot it etc.

Cheers Simon, my sentiments exactly! I wouldn't have chosen a green car or with that colour interior but hey.

I don't think the photo's do it any justice to be honest. I will get it cleaned up and take some better ones in the sunshine (if we ever get any more) when it arrives.

After spending so little on the car I'd continue the theme and not change the wheels. Make it a real 'bangernomics' car, all be it a V8

But I agree with the 'bangernomics' way of thinking. If you spend to much on it then you'll have wished you'd kept the E55.

I reckon just tidy up the basics, MOT and a service, sort out some of the niggles and drive.

The bangernomics sounds good, i would love to do that drive about in a technically worthless car and not worry about it to much, oh hang on thats what i do now!

How fast can you got for £350? that would be 155mph sir

It's Tourmaline Green metallic but it does look blue in some light

19" wheels are going to mean a very firm and brittle ride.

The 17" CLS wheels I have on my 210 (changed from 15") are just about OK.
