Hey all!

Thought I'd start one of these being I've have the benz for around 4 weeks now and started to add a few additions, so less talk more pics...

First addition to the benz is them 'amg' number plate surrounds, I like the looks of the plate surrounds, very OEM. Not looking the best ATM as I'm still waiting on my plate transfer, can't wait to get them swapped over and get my pressed plates in there!

Future mods/upgrades are;

-add genuine amg plate surrounds (done these today)
-cks amg style sports grill
-paint caliper a black and add mercedes/amg decals
-vinyl wrap mirrors and centre bar to bumper in gloss black, possibly rear spoiler when I add one
-upgrade wing mirror downlighters to LEDs (Added these also)
-upgrade interior bulbs to LEDs inc footwell bulbs
-debadge rear tailgate and add amg badge
-eibach or similar 30mm lowering springs
-amg quad exhaust and diffuser
-amg rear boot lip spoiler
- refurb wheels to black/silver as my diamond cut is showing signs of any lacquer peel

I'd appreciate any other suggestions for subtle mods, really don't want to 'Barry boy' my mercedes, but give it the road presence it deserves

Hope you like!

Went out last night to take some pics of the led mirror down lighters, matches the DRLs and Xeon headlights, despite them looking very 'yellow' in the pics!

Close up of the led, took about 10mins a side to fit after I watched how NOT to remove the mirror cover with the Chinese guy in from the states, thought he was going to rip it off in his hands!!!

Picture isn't the best but you get the idea

Latest addition or should I say 'removal' was saying bye bye to my 'blue efficiency' badges, as I was at it I de-fussed the rear boot lid also by removing the 'c200' and 'cdi', looks a lot neater especially as I added the plate surround! And the best thing about it, it was FOC!

A lot of bmw and mercs come straight from the factory de-dadged these days! And my top tip to remove the sticky residue left behind, is neat screen wash, work a treat!

That's it for a bit, need to order a spoiler from Taiwan next!

So I've been busy buying again...

Upgraded all the interior/boot/glovebox/puddle lights to LEDs

Found a good tutorial on youtube on how to remove all the covers, etc but I used 2x flat head screw drivers to prise the covers off.

In total I changed 11 x 501 bulbs and 1 x 42mm fetsoon bulbs to LEDs. To change all of them took me approx 30mins

Couple of day lights pics, will nip out tonight to get one in her full glory

Fronts

Rear

Boot

Glove box

To buy all the LEDs cost me approx £15 from ebay, as they are interior bulbs I took a chance with the cheapest I can find. As Ive found the cheap bulbs are no good for exterior lights, so will report back with any failures!

Next up is a full detail just waiting on my new sheepskin mitt, tardis and iron x to arrive with the postman!

Been a little while since I posted!

My reg has finally been transferred, so I've got my pressed plates on, only one niggle as the are thinner than plastic plates, so they do tend to rattle when closing the boot, but is fine during driving, by I will sort this!

Managed to detail the merc a few weeks back, no photos I'm afraid! But very happy with the results...

Anyhow my spoiler from Taiwan arrived, I must say I'm very pleased with the colour match!

Managed to get a few pics

Managed to get the ends to line up, was a slight fiddle, as I though I was doing right until I got to the end and realised I was still half inch over, so I peeled the spoiler off! Then lined the ends up and worked towards the middle.

Hope you like
