HI
just had call from garage who are working on my benz to investigate the suspension noise. The diagnosis is I need new springs all round as the front one is broken and rears are quite rusty.
The car doesn't have the sls system on it any more, which was removed prior to my ownership. The questions is do I replace the springs with h&R springs and also replace the shocks too which are fine with no leaks etc?
I don't want the car to sit high but still maiantain some degree of comfort. However currently it has some sort of springs which give it that lowered affect. The rear springs according to the history were H&R springs.
I am not sure whats the best spring overall and where is the best place to obtain one from? Your advice would be very much appreciated.
