Need some help valuing a (W211) 6.1 Brabus

Hi,

I thought this would be the best place to come, + have no where else to look.. We want to sell our beloved E class left to us by my father, but have no idea what to ask for it, and wondered if someone sensible out there could lend a hand.

49,000 miles with full history
obviously in mint condtion

well it has the standard brabus body kit, with 19" brabus wheels as standard, and has nav
can take pics but its basically as standard from the Brabus factory.

There's nothing standard from the Brabus factory, hence the request for details/ pics.

I would guess...


Look at a similar E55 millage / spec and add 4K for the Brabus engine / bits.

Does it have all the interior done, or bodykits, wheels, exhausts.

Is it saloon or estate.

It's a bit of a guess, difficult to value. As E63's which are newer and now under £20K so athough the new price of the Brabus was probably 'a lot' its probably worth more than a normal E55 but how much more....

You may find a buyer who would pay much more, but its a very special car and finding that buyer could take time.


Pictures would be good anyway so we can see it

Don't think it will be worth as much as either an E55k as the 6.1 is NA rare and classed as modified by the market...

Without a build sheet / options list it is difficult to value.. I would post it up on PH in "the thread" as well.

IIRC the donor car is an E500. I'd look at similar E500's for sale and add a grand or two the price.

A 8 year old 6.1 litre isn't really a car thats going to attract a big audience.

Dunno A210, you can get an E55k for about £10k. More powerful and less hassle as not a modified model and probably easier to get serviced.

Its a really esoteric car.

Im not sure they get that much out of what starts as the older 306hp e500 ... the facelifts were 385 when they left the factory as an E500.

Am sure it will be a lovely car... but it won't be a cruise missile.

Great question. I was under impression from the SL at Ollies GTG owned by Cliff, that it was supercharged and thats a K8.

You could have a SLK K8...

could the OP's car be a K8 W211 ?

K8 is the supercharged engine, still 'only' a 5.5 I think...
