Need some help valuing a (W211) 6.1 Brabus

Its difficult as price it at £15K or more and it 'may' take a while to sell or indeed sell staright away.

Myself I would see it as rarerer than a E55 and good millage, it not like its going to be 'slow'

Price it too low and it could go staright away to first person that see its,


However if your happy to get £12k for it say thats all that matters, It would also be nice if the two members on here could view and possibly buy it as it sounds a special car.

If that were an estate I would be tempted as unlike the AMG cars I bet I could fit a towbar to that

Comparing it to an E55K or E63 is like comparing a W124 E500 to a W210 E55.

Why pay £10K+ for the W124 when you can have the W210 E55 "with more Power" for £3K.

£13K is too cheap. Put it up at £22K - if it doesn't sell, reduce it.

You can't put it up at £13K then increase it if there's too much interest!

As a few have said, ultimately it's how quick you want rid will determine the price.

If a car such as yours was up at £22k, I wouldn't think about buying it because you're straight into mint condition W211 E63 money.

The big petrol engine market is absolutely dead on its ar5e at the minute, so it's all right for other people to put a silly price tag on your car, but it's not them that is going to have it sat for months on their drive.

On the other side of the coin, this forum might draw someone into paying a silly price for your car based on rarity, but I would be astounded if anyone paid over £15,000.

Good luck with whatever you decide, but I'm going to withdraw my interest in your car.

But we aren't talking about W124's vs W210's, rare examples of 124's are starting to appreciate in value; it is going to take years for any W211 AMG or Brabus to appreciate in value (as much as I love them). We are talking about the same model car, but in a different guise.

The type of people that are buying E55K's at the minute seem to be thirty somethings petrolheads and the values are falling like a stone, I was offered a really clean condition and with FSH 52 plate E55K with 125k on for £6k as a trade sale last week, but I want one around the 54/05/55 plate mark which are slightly harder to find for what I want to pay.

I would price it higher and take a small knock on negotiating... don't take what you hear on here as gospel.

It might not be anything particularly special in comparison to a normal AMG (performance-wise), but its still a rare car, more rare than any AMG, and the performance is almost the same. If you aren't in a rush, i'd price higher and sit tight.

There's lots of (well intentioned) guess work going on at the mo.

I'd spend an hour on Google seeking out specialist vehicle brokers/dealers and pick their brains.

We are all guessing on.. what would we pay, how much is a E500, E55, E63 etc...

Fact is there no other car for sale on a like for like basis currently? so very difficult to price. I don't beleive there is a 'right' price.

Finding the one person thats wants a 6.1 Brabus E class is all you need for it to be worth £30K but this could take weeks, months or years.


I also think if you are happy with a figure you decide then does it matter. You get £12K say. Cars gone no more selling your happy job done.


I personally would think its a bit 'special' do a good add, lots of pictures, full spec.

trust me if i had the cash id be very interested. There is a lot of guess work and I would contact Brabus personally and ask them like dev215 said, ive spoke to the HQ in Bottrop, Germany over email about mats for mine and they speak/translate into english just fine too. It's a very special car and in my eyes is worth over £15k-20k of anyone's money, driving one isnt always about the sprint from the lights (dont get me wrong thats fun and your car will certainly see most things off) its about the whole experience and you are hopefully targeting an elite group of customers that know just that. it deserves a good home for a very special premium car. However if you want to sell it me today for 5k then please dont let me stop you! it would be in a very good home hehe.

Sadly something is worth what someone will pay for it... Trade wise is worth about 9 bags... To the right private punter it could go for more.

Not being funny, but it's worth what you paid.

These are slightly off the wall, odd vehicles that will appeal to a small band of buyers. Those buyers will pay for the correct vehicle, most people won't.

It'a bit like asking what a Monet is worth, its worth what it sells for as it's a hand made one off.

Put it up with e55k price range,e63 another level keep it below.
Your Brabus or e55k would go with yours,not many around and it is special.There is always a genuine buyer for every car out there.
Great motor, don't give it away for nothing,lots of "sharks" around (looking for a bargains) if you know what I mean be carefull
