Need to take wheels off for refurbishment

I'm gonna have my wheels done on the c63 but obviously want to take all 4 off. I'll remove the tyres and take em into the sprayers. Hopefully it'll be a day to 2 days turn around but not sure what to do with car when removing the wheels. I was going to just set it on 4 axle stands but my driveway is stones so not sure it's an ideal method, plus it's a pain to jack up evenly on all 4 corners high enough to put the axle stands under. The PCD of our wheels are 112.0 I think, witch is the same as vw along with a few other makes. I'm asuming providing the offset is similar the stop gap wheels would have to be 18's? To clear calipers.

I don't want to drive the car. Just need to have piece of mind the cars gonna be safe rather than it sitting on axle stands. I know it's only going to be 2 days but I don't really wanna chance damaging the car when trying to jack it. Anyone know of any wheels that would be cheap but do the job??

Just put some thick wooden boards down to jack it and for the stands to sit on. 3/4" or 1" ply would do.

Where about are you based? I have a set of wheels/tyres off my CL600 you could borrow.

After spending 2 hours this morning armed with trolley jack boards blocks of wood and axle stands. I've come to the conclusion that there's no way of getting all 4 corners of the c class off the ground at the same time. The jacking points are shaped to fit the oem jack although you can put a trolley jack on them to. But there's no where else under the car to safely put alike stands or blocks of wood. Everything under the car has a splash guard!! Even the rear wish bones. Other than a two post lift or a spare set of wheels it ain't gonna happen. I've access to a 2 poster but not for 2 days. Just thought I'd write this as a heads up for anyone that tries to give this a go.

Sure you could do it if you had 4 jacks but that's something I didn't have.

It must be possible as I recently had mine done, but I left the car overnight at the place doing it. I didn't see my car on axle stands but they did have a Bentley on axle stands when I picked mine up.

I guess there must be a reason why you don't want to take the car in and leave it?

to be honest I would leave it there but the place is not a wheel refurbishment place it's just a very good body shop, as there's no damage on my wheels and I'm just having them sprayed I just said I'd take the wheels off and drop them in.

has the c63 got 4 flat jacking points though??

You need to either buy some or make some up from wood.

Dieselman. Wish it was that easy!! If you want to support the car on the four jacking points there's nowhere to put the jack and vice versa.
