Hi everyone. Thought I should say "hello" as my third post, and after visiting/reading here for a few weeks.
As to car sought: Thanks for the interesting info and opinions I've read so far. I now know exactly what I want: I'm looking for a C270 CDI estate, a pre-facelift '01 - '04.
Spec. to be Avantgarde or Elegance. The higher the options spec. the better (of course!), but the items that are primary include leather (pref. black), auto. Having studied on the site here, fully functioning air con. and NO Valeo radiators! Exterior colour silver, and Jasper blue is nice, but I would consider any colour.
PDC would be handy, heated/elec. seats maybe, headlamp wash, CD and changer. Xenons would be great. Things that don't matter so much are sunroof, wood trim, elec. column. Are towbars included with all estates from this period?
Ideally I'd like a car with below 100k miles, or not too far over, and a good history.
