New Laptop advice needed

Hi all

Thanks for all the input. I had a good chat with him tonight and the requirement is

2gb ram
160gb hard drive
15 - 17 inch screen
ms office pre installed
docking station
decent battery.

Budget is £550.

I think I will speak to Dell tomorrow and see what they can do (is that the best way to get a good deal from them?) and also see what is available from HP and Lovono.

I reckon that it should be possible to get a decent laptop with that budget?

Acer include 2 years warranty with their models..

worth putting on the list.

Deffo get a very good laptop for that money!

And Dell if still true, you can only order/buy online or over the phone anyway.
