New member, new to Mercedes, W124 300TE

Hello, I'm Dave,

I have just bought a W124 300TE. The car may be known to some of you, as it is the white one previously owned by MBClubUK member known as Vectrolosys. I'm in rural Worcestershire, near the Shropshire border.

I have had many estate cars, as my daily drive, (mostly Ford) but I couldn't bear the thought of a Mondeo. So I started looking for a Mercedes and decided that a cheap one would give me a good intro to the marque, also I would probably learn about the various charms and pitfalls pretty quickly.

I have been enjoying the new smooth driving experience, clocked up around 700 miles in it so far. No doubt I'll be needing some advice about it very soon.
