new member question on autobox

Hi
I have recently won a E240 W210 2000 plate on Flea bay,
the car seems to drive fine most of the time BUT..... have noticed that on a cold morning wont change up o power seemed to be in limp mode, sometimes if you boot it the gear change is very harsh and undecided sort of changes up but not a big gap in the change, or just drives nice and smooth with no problems.
do I change the fluid and filter oil etc.
car has 92000 miles

Getting the fluid changed should help with the smooth gearchanges. When cold, the gearchanges aren't very smooth on a W210 I noticed.

It's a feature of the box that when cold ir does not change up early.

Ok will look into getting the fluid changed, diy job if I knew where and what oil to use
