New Owner - C350 CDI Estate

Hi all, thought I'd say hi and introduce myself.

I got a new C350 CDI Sport Estate at the end of December and am enjoying MB ownership so far. This is my first Benz after a variety of Ford, Vauxhall etc. and then more recently VW's and BMW's.

Indeed.

Just wait until you start playing with the paddles. For warp speed overtaking, just pull and hold the left paddle, wait for the gearbox to drop a couple of cogs, and then let slip the dogs of war.

Thanks all - the car does look nice in white although it's not easy to keep it looking clean

Great choice

Give the car a proper detail and then seal with Collinite 476s. Works a treat and makes the car much easier to keep clean.

The dealer gave it a full valet so that it looked like new and then gave it a treatment with Starprotect (they threw that in towards the end of the negotiation) so I'm hoping it will be okay.

The joy of ownership took a dip yesterday as I kerbed a wheel

It was my own fault of course - dropping someone off in a road I was unfamiliar with, watching three other things at the same time and "crunch"...

I am still feeling gutted .

But life goes on.....

That's just typical what happens with a new car, if it was a 10yr old banger it likely wouldn't have happened.... Such is life..... I'm sure you can get it repaired chaep enough. Keep your chin up buddy....
