Hi Everybody
Recently (last week) became the owner of a 7400 mile 2013 C63 AMG 4 door, and absolutely loving it so far!
Spec not too different from standard; Obsidian Black, black leather, 18" wheels, not sure if any of the interior equipment is standard or extras (Command, Media Interface, Sunroof, 60/40 split folding rear seat, bi Xenons). Didn't want 19" or black wheels, or red bits inside.
So why did I buy one?
Having had two Honda S2000s over the last five years, and gradually fallen out of love with them whilst running a C220 AMG Sport as a daily driver, I decided to swap from two cars, to one which can be used daily but is immense fun when I want it to be. Liked the way the C220 drove, and the way the cabin was laid out, so it had to be a C63!
So far, the reaction from people has been split; those who know what it is just tend to grin and utter superlatives; those who don't know what it is think its the same as the C220 I had before. Almost a sleeper...
Not driven it masses so far, but already discovered the joy of approaching a roundabout in S+ mode and hearing the throttle blips on downchanges, and the grin induced when driving it in a multi story car park with the window open!
Anyway, just thought I'd say hello and intoduce myself.
