New water pump being fitted under warranty

Took the sport plus in for its B service today, £405 Including brake fluid and a 2014 Audi A3 loan car. I asked them (Esplanade) to check the water pump as I've topped up a couple of times, they phoned up joking do I want a job? as the pump is leaking so a new one being fitted tomorrow under warranty.
Keeping the Audi for another day, not bad as its a 1400 cc petrol with auto, very quiet, pretty smart looking, but really a posh focus.

Glad you have a competent dealer that is doing what they are supposed to do! I imagine the Audi's ride is somewhat inferior? Do they still have very sharp brakes?

Are they a 'normal' franchise dealer or are things done a bit differently on the IoW?

Seems odd to give you an Audi when you take an MB in for service. Can't imagine MB being thrilled about that (as you might like the Audi!).

The Audi is a nice but nothing special in my eyes, The ipod thingy is cool though as it goes down inside the dash if you don't want to have it in your face, unlike the new c class where it looks likes an after thought. I
ts front wheel drive, amazingly quiet, pulls extremely well for 1400 cc petrol, doing only 35mpg though, and the brakes are very sharp, its on 17" alloys but is bumpier than my sport plus on 18". I will take some pics tomorrow so you can have a look around it.
