My New Year's resolution is to get the interior of the coupe sorted and get rid of the E36 to make room in the garage for something special (not 100% sure what yet).

strip all the donor cars I have lying around to make my yard look more presentable..

Dont help myself having just added an SEC just for its seats and an SEL (from NeilRR) that i have no real plans for...

To finish off my 67 Shelby GT500 by March ready for some shows and to make a start on my 560 SEC AMG project

Get the Merc fitted with the new exhaust parts

Take it on a trip to Norway, see some sights.

Get the Escort engine on a bench dyno and see what power it's making.

Dave!

Buy a house with a garage so I can start on that Sauber C9 I have been promising myself,

other than that its driving at the speed limit with due care and attention so I can keep my license,

Keep my eyes out for a cheap diesel Pinzgauer,

Try to keep a car for a whole year,

Use the SL more :o
Get some AMG wheels on the Vito :D

Give the (recently bought) 126 a good going over ; get the stereo installed .

Start replacing the rotten panels on the Fintail as I've been meaning to do since I bought it 2 years ago ( arrival of new baby earlier this year put that project on the back burner ) .

Lavish some TLC on the Ponton which has lain neglected for the same period of time ( for the same reason as above ) .

finish my coupe, get something with a V8 in it and I suppose I really ought to buy a micro town car thingy for convenience etc (yes, that last one is a bridge too far)

If a project I am working on comes to completion I will buy an E60 w124 (because I'm worth it [flick hair, look to camera and smile]):D :D

Wash the cars more often. Intended to make a start today. Mist and ice still there at noon, and -3 deg C, so decided against it. Not the best start then.

I've also intended to buy something economical and environmentally sound for the last few years, but not bought myself round to it. Maybe 2009 will be the year for it?

Sort the rust out. :D

Buy a FULL tank of petrol for the 300  and sell the Porsche (cost and worth about the same before the smarties here say anything :D:devil:)

going to steam clean engine [carefully] to check out slight oil leak

New ball joints and aerial FINALLY fix and super clean the wheels!

  • Sell my Peugeot 205Gti, Fiat Coupe 16v, and 83' Alfasud 1.3Ti.
  • Build double garage to house some more of my cars
  • Get my Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo sorted, Vrt'd and on the road.
  • Try to make a start on the restoration of my Mk I Scirocco
  • Enjoy my new (94) Merc E220 Coupe.
That lot should keep me going for a year.

fix the OVP problem, refurb the wheels and then stop spending money on the CE

ride the bike more

finish the sodding flat so I can free up cash for another silly car :D

Happy New Year all

Ade
