Hello to all-
This forum has threads that keep coming up as I work on my 91 300TE 4matic with M103 engine, so I though I would join and hopefullt get some more knowledge.
My current problem is this:
Start engine, ignites immediately but then will die unless I keepmthe airflow plate just slightly depressed. Pretty much starts ok after the first time with a little help from the gas pedal.
IAC has 8.2 ohms across two pins and 8.8 volts. Volts drop as engine warms.
However, when I disconnect the IAC while the engine is running the rpm DROPS noticeably. I thought it should go up?
Any ideas will be appreciated
(Replaced rubber vac fittings, plugs, rotor, cap, tested temp sensor (4 pin) and ovp relay ).
