ML is another choice. Good combination between family car and Chelsea tractor. A bit more classic than a Touareg and less flashy than the Range Rover.

I have had mine for two years and feel perfectly happy with it.

I wouldn't care it looks like a big Passat, you hardly see any on the roads, a real understated excellent car, almost like Mercedes used to be!

Good spot, I've never had a 4*4 before and fancy scratching the itch

Lol I expected £40 and wecare talking £38 ish, if it was a juicy car I was changing up to I daresay they would make £40

Keeping it makes little sense if I trade for a lossless motor, however
Another option is to trade Annas Nitro which has lost £1k !!!!! In a year ( i think we bought well )

So a bit more thinking yet.

Out in it today, roof open, northern soul on the iPod in great clarity, knowing it's capable of warp speed it's a great car - I just don't love it.

I dislike it's crappy engineering that you just know is there even if I can't quantify it. The gimmicks of magic interior lights and glovebox. On my SL the wipers are always on auto, on the jag this would mean you get random dry wipes - I hate that for the lack of effort.

People do look, point and stare at my Jag - maybe cos I'm the only soft sod who didn't buy black lol
