Ah, that does change things a little. Still, if it went for the right price then there are plenty of leather interiors knocking around for sale!

It's got a facelift bonnet/grille, and looks like the bootlid has been done too. Obviously it's got the clear indicator lenses and side repeaters / later rear clusters.

Was probably changed for aesthetics, but might have been in a smack - worth checking before you buy

It must eb quite difficult to take pictures so uniformly oink. Can't comment on the car as I can't see it.

those engines do not "sound cammy" my old e230 had 250k on the clock when we sold it and it was whisper quiet

Certainly a lot of car for litle money if it runs OK an is not full of rot. Lets face it, if its not a write off, can you buy a car that has this sort of looks for below £1300 ?

Also its hardly the most complicated engine to work on.

Might be the tappets - anything from a decent oil change or possibly replace some of the tappets - only 8 on this engine?

If the rest of the car was sound, this wouldn't put me off, at the right price
