I have the Nokia cradle in the W211 which takes the 6310i. Changed my provider from Orange to O2 and now (most-times, but not always) when I put the phone in the cradle it comes up 'no sim card' on the display.
If i put the phone in switched off and activate it from the Audio it always works fine straight off.

Any ideas please?

Have you removed and reseated the SIM card, just in case the O2 card isn't quite right?

I have tried that Bobby, to no avail. I think it's something to do with the car though cos the phone is fine till it's mounted. (for want of a better word)

if you put it in switched on does the little car sign come up on the phone display ?

No John. Just says 'no sim card'. Come to think of it...I never get the wee car symbol. It usually says Orange or O2.

Interesting. In each of the three car-kitted cars we've had, the 6210/6310/6310i has always come up with a little car symbol under the network name...

Thanks. This will be rectified soon anyway when I change (again :wallbash:) from O2 to T Mobile. Don't like being told lies by O2 salesman.
Just changed my daughter to o2 from T mobile because of a lying saleman.....

:wallbash:

Which SW version does the phone have? Which head unit do you have? Do you have PIN code request active at the moment, try changing it to the opposite from what it is now.
