hi all
Very strange problem today on my vito (108cdi 2003 mk1)
Got in this morning and it took a couple of extra turns to get going but started and drove fine

Got to the stables did bits and bobs jumped back in and had to crank it over and over untill the battery flattened its self (5-6 mins of trying to start )

Put jumpleads on it from the patrol left it a couple of mins ticking over then tryed to start it took about 1`min to get it fired up

Once up and running it was fine no limp home 80 mph
Got home in drive turned it off
Would'nt start
Totally ****** off

Im thinking a fuel issue
replaced the fuel filter about 2 months ago with a Unipart one that just would'nt seal
Returned and replaced the filter fitted it with not another problem from it
until this today
Looking in the engine bay there is a clear fuel line under the manifold that when it is running appers to be frothy
Is this meant to be or have I an air leak in the fuel system

Pic but bear with me

The pipe highlighted between the red lines
Cant see where it comes from
Help any ideas
