started the old girl up today for her weekly engine turn over and the exhaust was making a hollow sound more than usual under the drivers seat area. i hope what i suspected hasn't happed, ie mid section replacement after hitting something on the m1.

will take her into kwik fit this week then confirm our attendance!

btw, years back i took my old 940 volvo to kwik fit and they put this grey gunk on the exhaust to seal a wee hole.

it worked. do people still use this stuff?

Yep it is still around but I have never had a very good result with it, check out your local hellfrauds
