OK after brief discussion I'll start the thread and explain.

We have a Scottish Grand Tour, A Yorkshire YOMP and a Southern Driving Tour, so what about a Northern Ireland Driving tour :dk:

Although I am kicking off this thread I am quite happy to pass on to someone local should they so wish, but we thought about covering the Northern Coast as access to NI from Scotland and Western England is very easy with plenty of ferry services. I have a colleague in Ballygowan who organizes tours for the Jag club and I'm sure he would arrange ours, however I am sure there are some NI members who may wish to contribute and suggest and organize places to visit.

So if you are interested please put your name below, timing wise late July / August. Also if our NI members could suggest places we may want to take in and if they would help/organize the tour. I have spent a lot of time in NI and know it pretty well (Mainly for the Northwest 200) but there is nothing like local knowledge so any help welcome guys :thumb:

So lets see where this takes us

Non runner due to lack of interest

Well looks like this one died a death with very little interest, so we'll knock it on the head and won't progress it.

Still theres a Yorkshire tour, Scottish tour and Southern tour for those not on board aready :thumb:

That's a pity.

This was the first I saw this thread. I think that's the problem...threads do not stay up until you have read them, they disappear.

On the other side all unread threads stay up until you have read them.

I think it is less due to lack of interest and more due to lack of bumping.

Hopefully people might see this and we can resurrect it? I'm still up for it :thumb:

That's a possible 6 of us I reckon it's a goer with that if we can find dates to suit

Anyone got any offers on dates?

Ian, what sort of dates would work for you. I work Mon to Friday now so free any weekend?

We usually get the best weather in May/June, July is our wettest month but when it doesn't rain July can be lovely.

Does someone local want to take this on or shall I get my mate in Ballygowan to plan us a route and see what we think? Also what dates are suitable for everyone? I will pay a bit more attention to this when I return home as the Yorkshire tour is 99% sorted :thumb:

Renault21ts or 230k? Can you help.

If not, Ian, if you can get your pal to do us a route. I wouldn't know where to go and not to go in NI.
