Now looking to buy W216 CL500, how does this look?

How does it look?
Price ok?
Any knowledge good or bad of the dealer?

it looks very good but for just a couple of grand more you could probably get one with getting on for half that mileage.

Stay well clear of that one it's in Bradford and I have the unfortunate pleasure of working there. Cars in bradford have a very dodgy reputation even the HPI checked ones

Would you care to elaborate?
Car has FSH from a London main dealer up to 61k mikles, serviced last year in March. My MB dealer is checking this out.
The Bradford dealership has lots and lots of high end vehicles, looks legit to me.

Stay well clear of that one it's in Bradford and I have the unfortunate pleasure of working there. Cars in bradford have a very dodgy reputation even the HPI checked ones

I've no personal experience of the garage in question so could not comment but I totally agree with one poster on there "I would rather buy a car from Nigeria than Bradford"

I've been in the trade over 20 years so don't give yourself grief and stay away from Bradford unless its a main dealer

The point is are all the cars bad? dodgy history? ...i think you would definitely need to get the car thoroughly inspected (with your own Gold HPI check), most MB indies charge a couple of hours labour so well worth it...as to who could do this in Yorkshire, i am sure the guys will let you know!

I agree with you it is really a lovely car, unfortunately our garage packed up just over a year ago due to the ill health of the owner otherwise we could have done the inspection no problem.

That said I'm quite happy to go give the car the once over when I am in Bradford but that won't be until next week as I am currently in Canada but if its of any use the offer is there and free.

The only garage I trust in Bradford (and so does Johnsco on here) is Rodley Motors they are honest and have been in business a long time, maybe Richard there could give it a thorough Inspection I wouldn't have though it would be that much for a couple of hours labour and would trust these guys.

another 7 years of depreciating at that rate and it will cost more to tax than acquire

2 more years and the girl will be off to Uni so Natalies excuses about no more 2 door cars in the family becomes redundant..at that point I suspect I will buy a nice one through Jay
