I noticed last night whilst driving through some monsoon like weather that the vehicle position on the screen was around 50 feet out of position to my actual position, this was driving through the centre of Glasgow with high buildings and torrential rain so I thought no more of it.

Today when I started the car it was still showing that I was parked in my neighbours back garden , which I wasn't. I checked the number of satellites I was using and it said 11 so I am pretty confident that the antenna is operating OK. I took the car for a drive and it eventually showed the car was in the correct position on the map and throughout the drive the satellite usage was between 9 and 11.

I also noticed that when on maximum zoom the triangle (car) display continually moves ever so slightly from side to side of the road you are on, is this normal .

Kenny

Very occasionally mine does this but soon corrects itself. I suspect its a software glitch.

Cheers for that :thumb:

I will be popping (if a 900 mile trip can be classed as popping) down to see you around mid February to get my steering wheels paddles coded ,now that my used car warranty has expired .

I will call you later in the month to arrange a mutually acceptable time.

Cheers - Kenny
