Oil change pump.

I've been considering one of these for some time, but didn't know if they were any good.

Thanks for letting us know your opinion :thumb:

Yep I've been considering one too, fed up of laying on the drive to remove the sump plug. At that money it's got to be worth a shot

Not forgetting it needs an electrical source. Pretty obvious I know, but if the engine and the battery aren't in the same compartment....

I thought about one of those electric pumps but then bought a vacuum extractor on the assumption it would be faster. In retrospect one advantage of the electric pump is that the oil goes straight from the sump into the waste container which means no pouring from one container to another and less mess to clean up.

engine oil removal pump

Hi
thanks for the posting and I have been thinking about buying one,
Does it remove the oil thorough the dip stick hole, if yes what size is the tube, will the old oil have to be cold, and how long to remove / drain the oil,

all the best for the new year, John

Oil needs to be hot/running temp.

Yes remove via the dip stick tube.

Yes. The tubes will fit.

Takes a couple of minutes to remove.

Well today I changed the oil in three of my cars using this bit of kit. No hassle, nice clean hands and it only takes a few minutes per car.

Thanks to Renault121
