Old skool Brabus split rims

On a W202 aswell:

My low rider was built in the 90's then stored for nearly ten years, hence it has all those 90's touches still on it that now seriously date it, colour coded bumpers, modded lights and 3 spokes.

I like the finish on that ...

Grille on the seat , retro exposed door interior , invisible wipers ... Nice touches

the door panel is off it and laying on the back seat because the car has no door handles so access needed to the inside of it while it has no battery on it, grill is off cos the engine is being worked on and them grills really hurt your head, especially when the bonnet opens sideways. :P

Wipers are inside in the box of bits and bobs. :D

On a serious note , when you finish that , it will look great.

Bin those wheels though , get some AMG reps ..

yeah, wheels and colour will go, as will the colour coded trim although the window frames will probably have to stay trimless as the B pillar has been moved backwards and the doors made longer so original stuff wont fit.

Gotta sort the suspension out first really, the ride is to hard as the springs have been cut really short to get the rams on it, i'm gonna add accumulators to the system so it'll be much like a citroen system in the way that it works, except that i have individual wheel control and its MUCH faster. :D

I have been toying with the idea of a 6.3 inspired look for my coupe as it happens, and i do have a warmed up Pontiac V8 and box laying around for motivation, just need some cheap Pentas. :D

Then it is clearly your mission to save them :D

I do wonder how they'd look colour coded on my SL though? Azuritblau please.

I think color coded is the best way to work these wheels - the color coding would soften the impact of the 3 spoke design and magnify the effects of the fasteners and deep dish.

I'll try and dig out my Brabus brochure where they fitted these wheels color coded black on a black Brabus 500E.

Some examples of these alloys on cars

I like the Coupe with the colour coded ones

Stunning, absolutely stunning....although the Coupe would look even better if the dish had not been color coded. Who the hell colour codes the dish ?

They should have sent the wheels to Spit & Polish for a proper job !
