I bought a old style Momo steering wheel a few days ago, and fitted it today.

Its slightly smaller than the origional, but has thicker grip, the colour isnt a perfect match, but is ok.

Im not sure if Im going to keep it or not, what do you think.

Hehe, 3 replies, 3 different opinions! :D

I think I prefer the original wheel myself.

I prefer the original too :)

Ive tried various different wheels on my r107 and always decided to stick to the original... its the only one that goes... You can get a half wood version of the original but they are rare and the last one fetched £200 on ebay which IMO is silly money.

Original for me too.

Would something from here work - or is it a bit to far the other way..?

Looks aside, I bet the Momo wheel provides more in the way of driver enjoyment. Personally speaking, the only fault I see with it is the colour.

I don't dislike the Momo wheel (with the padding) but there is something just right about the original. Isn't shuffling that big wheel part of the driving experience of the car?

THe original looks better IMO

How about a half wood or even all wood 'wheel as Ade B link?

Thankyou for all the replies.

I just wanted to see what you all thought before I replace the Momo with the original steering wheel.

It will be on ebay soon !
