I was wondering what my options are to connecting my iphone 4 to the standard head unit (pictured below). I'd ideally like some sort of wired connection...have a nokia ck-7w installed from when i bought the car done by a previous owner but i would like to have access to the music on there. any suggestions would be much appreciated

thanks

Currently no options for a Mercedes wired solution but there are bluetooth options. you would need phone pre-wire (option 386) though.

For music you can easily fit a Mercedes ipod kit to that head unit. It will work with the iphone4 and display tracks/artists/playlists etc in the cluster and can be controlled from the steering wheel.

Hope this helps,

Hi all is there any update on this, on my W203 in the armrest cubby is what looks like an iphone3 cradle, i take it i will have to change this to an iphone4 cradle, ive seen a couple on ebay, which incidently look like the on in the car already, although the cable is wrong for an iphone 4.

Anyone know a good general purpose bluetooth UHI adapter that works well with the iphone4?

I don't particularly want to invest in a cradle that will be obsolete in a year or so, but have pretty much given up on my viseeo - despite an expensive software update it connects maybe 2 out of three times and downloads the contacts almost never. (but sometimes, which is the maddening thing)

in contrast the 5 years old never-updated parrot in my wife's car works perfectly - shame they never got into the MB market.
