Come on, what's the story? Pammy been driving it?

(Vinyls arrived BTW - thanks!)

LOL.
Don't know, the RAC man who parks next to me brought it in on the back of his flatbed.
I'll ask him the story when I see him Monday.

No probs with the vinyl;)

these cars are made of pvc and cardboard

There were a few chunky bits of aluminium inside the car on the passengers seat.
You can see one bit of this in the bottom picture of the 1st set.
The impact was so great that the CD player ended up inside the dash.

Looks as if you reversed one of your trucks into it .

No, there would be a lot more damage than that if 44 tonne had reversed into it. Doubt if I would have even felt it touch:devil:

Get the wheels off it and onto Ebay ! ;)

I know that the pictures of glass fiber car always look bad after a crash, but in some accidents the personnel injuries are some times less than in a conventional car, I suppose there is a limit

the lotus has no airbags anyway.
I think they have only started putting one in for the americans

I bet it happened while the road was wet. Most Loti come croppers during rain/ice/snow. They grip like hell in the dry, but are lethal in the wet.
Which is why you dont see many VX220's around now. Most have been modified beyond repair thanks to the combination of wet roads and inexperience.

Front wheel and suspension appears to have absorbed part of the impact also. There seems to be an aluminium beam in the sill to absorb side impacts, but it must be very easy to overide that on such a low car. Hope there was no-one in the passenger seat at the time!

I think 'Ouch' works for me. :)

In fact mega ouch works even better

I wonder if the RAC version will match the driver's version of events. I blame the black dog.

John
