A small but annoying issue, can't copy/paste within Outlook (not express) 2007 - the dialogues don't appear, also no difference if using mouse, shortcuts etc.

Copy/paste ok in other office programs and the OS.

Using Vista H.P. everything up to date, Outlook is a new install although Office been on a while.

Does Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V work?

Have you tried creating a new Outlook profile to see if the profile itself is screwed?

Ctrl+C & Ctrl+V: Don't work, works everywhere else.

Profiles, not exactly, as I mentioned it is a clean install so technically a new profile - plus profiles in 2007 completely different from previous versions and a pig to work with... yuck.

Thanks though

I have the same problem with Outlook 2007. The only way round it i can find is to select copy and paste etc from the edit menu. I have tried lots of fixes and evan a complete re-install but these didn't cure it.

I am running office 2000, outlook 2007 and XP pro (just for info).

Still no good, in this case anyway- the problem is I'm trying to paste into a window, namely RSS feed - I know it should work 'cause that is following MS instructions...... onwards and upwards!

Extreme measures

Well for the first time in, well ever, contacted MS tech support - let's see how good they are.

No - clutter free zone, unlike the rest of the house.
Although various buggers keep trying to install it.

ps.. Love the avatar... I keep trying to swat the damn thing as we get lots of flys and small crawly things round here from the fields and I keep thinking its real.

Have you tried Ctrl+Ins and Shift+Ins:confused:

Shift+Ins - success

& :o appologies to Sp!ke - Ctrl+V also works, goodness knows what key I hit last time!

Having grief with PayPal / Ebay, at least that is my excuse...

So thanks to both.
