Morning, I was thinking of installing a Parrot CK3100 into the CLK. It came with COMAND from the factory but the first owner never bothered about the pnone. Has anybody fitted one themselfs and id so would be grateful for any advice before I go any further. Cheers all, Lockking

Hi
My clk had a parrot fitted when I bought it, so no actual fitting advice.
However, it has a seperate speaker which seems strange - I've thought that this may be due to the Bose system - it may be worth considering this when you install (radio/CD still mutes ok).
The unit was fitted to a bracket by the radio. I have since moved it to the cubby under the radio where it is a perfect push fit - no brackets required. The unit has a small knock-out at the rear, so the wires can exit from the bottom or the rear.

Whilst the voice recognition is good, I have mine set to the (i)phone voice commands, as these seem to work better. It also means that I can use the iphone voice commands to control my music (plugged in via an itrip, mounted next to the parrot).

I fitted a Parrot 3100 kit and had to remove it as it was useless, then fitted a Bury 9060 which is perfect :dk:

Hi Ted thanks for the info. The Parrot doesn,t seem to be that good. Maybe I'll go for something else. Thanks for your feedback.
