ive had a cold start issue now for a long time,i noticed today that theres no pressure in the fuel rails, ive changed the cps, mass, cleaned the pump, fitted a new upgraded fuel filter, ive just found out im only getting 5 volts to the pump with yhe key in position 2, this surley cant be right, ive also swapped the relay and its still the same?

Yes, that is what it is about, but 1 thread asking the question would have been enough.
Maybe no-one knows the answer to your problem.
Have you taken it to a dealer and had it put on STAR?

Have you tested the voltage to the pump once the car is started??Is it 12v? If the pump is rated at 12v you could try wiring a direct 12v supply from the battery after you remove the normal one. this would at least rule out the pump as the cause. Make sure the pump has a good return path ( earth??)

though you may only have 5 volts on the pump,,put the minus lead from the meter to a good ground point and then measure both leads and only one should have the 12 volts.

If they both have a voltage then the earthing ground is bad for the pump.

I cant send out diagrams as they will not print out
