- 65 Plate E350 CDI Convertible, 2006 CLS 55 AMG, 1997 C230K, 1999 C43/55 AMG
Hi Guys,
I have recently replaced my 06 Audi A4 3.0TDI Convertible with an Mercedes approved used E350 CDI BlueTEC AMG Line Premium Cabriolet 65 plate.
I thought the new Comand system would be far superior to the one in my CLS55 but I find just as awkward and clunky.
So I have been investigating getting it upgraded to Apple Carplay/Android Auto fitted, but looking online I have found a possible alternative upgrading the screen size to a Android 10.25" touchscreen an seemingly perfect intergration with the existing sound system and car functions. It also seems that it is available for all/most variations of the Command system from about 2003ish.
I came across this upgrade whilst browsing the American forums and it seems highly recommended.
Never heard of the company before let alone the product so I was wondering what others think of it or if anyone else has bought this system.
